Training Programs

According to Fire Regulation 14/2014, each company/facility that employs personnel is responsible for the formation and training of fire safety teams at regular intervals. Our training packages with a focus on clear and sufficient training of the employees of the companies are designed according to the needs and conditions of each individual company. The structure of our training programs is based on the theoretical and practical understanding of the subjects of fire prevention and suppression combined with first aid training and/or certification of all, members of the fire safety teams and any employee who is interested, to prepare and shield the staff of the company.

Conducting exercises after the theoretical and practical training within the framework of the fire brigade regulation 14/2014 of the fire safety teams is considered obligatory in order to ascertain the proper functioning of the teams, their level of readiness and the accurate implementation of the alarm and evacuation plans. In addition, readiness exercises contribute to the achievement of team spirit among the team members and to their preparation and familiarization with firefighting equipment in realistic conditions. The drills can combine our training programs. E.g. Fire response and management of employee injury during evacuation. All drills are organised in collaboration with the relevant company's fire safety team leader and are preceded by theoretical training of the scenarios to be carried out.

The certified instructors of Fire Tactics Co. provide theoretical and practical training to the company's personnel, evaluating them at the same time through the implementation of scenarios on the subjects covered in the theoretical training. The first aid training programs we provide are: • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Lasting 6 hours and aimed at anyone who wants to have a sound knowledge of the basic techniques for dealing with life-threatening incidents of an adult. • First Aid at Work (Emergency) - 6 hours in duration, suitable for workplaces with a small number of employees and a low occupational risk index. • First Aid at Work - 18 hours in duration, suitable for training staff in workplaces with a large number of employees and a relatively high risk index. A certificate of attendance is provided for all programmes and in cases of certification, after written and practical examinations, a certificate is provided. The choice of the appropriate programme and the way and time of its implementation are always made in consultation with the person in charge of each company. The first aid at work programmes are approved by the Labour Inspection Department of the Republic of Cyprus under certificate number TEI 21.01.6.3.19-15.
